Yazaki is seeking a BSC Specialist to join our Logistics function at the Tangier plant. In this L1 role, you will be responsible for strategic and operational tasks related to master data management and procurement processes, driving continuous improvement and ensuring system reliability.

What You'll Do

Ensure the reliability of data in the GPDB system.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers and plants.
Solve problems to address issues and challenges in the procurement process.
Coordinate with the Continuous Improvement Team for the development of new processes.
Test new SAP solutions and enhancements.
Roll out SAP solutions to plants as requested by Integration experts.
Follow up on logistic demands.
Elaborate and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Business Support operations.
Create and maintain materials master data and MMSA master data.
Extend and maintain vendors' information and output.
Create and maintain purchasing info records and source lists.
Ensure alignment with rules, regulations, and policies, and update them as required.
Register new vendors and request necessary documentation from them.
Create and maintain sales orders and purchase orders.
Input data into the GPDB system, including incoterms, prices, units of measure, and minimum order quantities.
Create and maintain purchase orders in SAP.
Create and manage master data and prices for indirect materials.
Create and maintain suppliers/vendor master data.
Resolve blocked invoices by coordinating with stakeholders like requestors, finance, Conduent, and suppliers.
Review blocked or parked invoices.
Proactively check all received invoices to ensure they are ready for payment.
Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in SAP master data management through continuous learning.
Attend relevant training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in SAP systems and data management.
Seek opportunities to mentor and coach junior team members.
Collaborate with senior management to align master data management strategies with overall business objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in SAP master data management, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Monitor industry trends and benchmark performance against industry standards to identify opportunities for innovation.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, such as automation, workflow optimization, and system enhancements, to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, ideas, and suggestions from team members, and implementing effective change management strategies.

What We're Looking For

Engineering or Master's degree in Logistics supply chain, technical fields or equivalent.
1 year of experience or internships in a similar area.
Fluent in English.
