Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Branch Trainer who will be central to our warehouse operations. In this role, you will ensure efficient and accurate order deliveries while operating equipment. Your primary focus will be on training new hires to meet our standards, motivating team members, and upholding high productivity, quality, and safety throughout the facility.
What You'll Do
- Train new hires in their first several months to meet Medline's quality and productivity standards.
- Anticipate and coordinate the scheduling of new hire training.
- Motivate and retrain low-performing team members to expected standards.
- Provide helpful tools and feedback on areas for improvement.
- Work with the Supervisor and/or Director of Operations to maintain high productivity and offer ideas for improvement.
- Conduct observations on team members and offer constructive feedback and motivation.
- Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and Medline Core Values.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment, including retraining and supporting our safety culture.
- Perform all standard job functions within the warehouse daily as directed by leadership.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and perform functions throughout all warehouse areas.
- Aid and lead branch team members in various areas such as shipping, replenishment, receiving, and the dock.
- Effectively communicate with the branch management team regarding daily operations.
- Be flexible in schedule and respond to training needs across shifts and departments on short notice.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Medline Team Member in a position for preferably more than 12 months.
- Achieved an overall performance evaluation score of 3.0 or greater on your most recent review.
- No previous corrective action above a Coach Counsel within the last 6 months.
- Working knowledge of all areas of the warehouse and multiple types of machinery is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to engage with and develop others.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in SAP & Catalyst.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must be able to operate machinery within the location.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
Nice to Have
- Being a top performer is preferred.
- 1-2 years of lead experience.
- Bi-lingual ability is a plus.
