Nvidia is searching for a Board Design Engineer to join our Circuit Solutions Group. As a Platform Design Engineer, you will collaborate with key design teams to develop evaluation boards for NVIDIA products and test chips, driving design execution from specification through production.
What You'll Do
- Design evaluation boards for NVIDIA products including GPUs, CPUs, and test chips.
- Drive design execution including electrical schematics, component selection, and layout guidance.
- Manage documentation for manufacturing release and serve as primary interface to Silicon, Thermal, Mechanical, SI, and EMC engineers.
- Collaborate with Platform Architects and Chip Leads to create platform specifications and ensure the design meets performance and testing requirements.
- Perform hands-on development, testing, validation plans, bring-up, and support production and qualification processes in a lab environment.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MSEE and 5+ years of board or system design experience.
- Proficiency in digital and analog circuit simulation and fault diagnosis.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects from specification through to production.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills.
Nice to Have
- Deep knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits.
- Experience with SoC platform design, including high current power delivery and high speed signals.
- Proven industry experience with board design and fabrication including schematics, layout, and familiarity with thermal and mechanical design processes.
