About the Role
The professional will assess client behavior, design individualized intervention plans, and supervise implementation by behavior technicians while ensuring compliance with ethical and clinical standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for clients in home environments
- Develop and update behavior intervention plans based on assessment data
- Provide direct supervision to behavior technicians and RBTs
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support plan consistency
- Train caregivers on behavior management techniques
- Ensure adherence to BACB ethical guidelines
- Document client sessions and progress accurately
- Coordinate with schools and other service providers
- Conduct regular team meetings to review client outcomes
- Oversee data collection procedures for behavioral programs
- Deliver parent education workshops as needed
- Implement skill acquisition programs using ABA principles
- Address crisis situations with appropriate behavioral protocols
- Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Support quality assurance initiatives within the clinical team
- Assist in onboarding new clinical staff
- Ensure timely submission of clinical documentation
- Use telehealth platforms for remote consultations when appropriate
- Adhere to state and federal regulations for home health services
- Respond to client emergencies within established response windows
- Conduct initial and periodic client reassessments
- Promote client independence through behavior programming
- Engage in peer review of treatment plans
