About the Role
The developer will be responsible for configuring and customizing BMC Helix applications, developing workflows, integrating with external systems, and supporting upgrades and patches within an enterprise IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy BMC Helix ITSM solutions according to business specifications
- Customize forms, workflows, and business rules within the Helix Platform
- Develop integrations between BMC Helix and third-party systems using REST APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments
- Collaborate with IT service management teams to refine incident and change processes
- Support system upgrades, patches, and version migrations
- Document technical designs, configurations, and implementation steps
- Ensure compliance with security and audit standards
- Participate in agile sprint planning and review sessions
- Optimize system performance and scalability for high-volume transactions
- Configure reporting and dashboards for operational insights
- Manage source control and deployment pipelines for Helix artifacts
- Provide technical guidance during user acceptance testing
- Maintain version-controlled configuration baselines
- Work with stakeholders to translate service requirements into technical solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with BMC Helix upgrades and patching
- Knowledge of containerized deployments and cloud environments
- Exposure to DevOps practices in ITSM implementations
- Background in large-scale enterprise IT transformations
- Familiarity with IT service catalog design and implementation
