Hunt St is looking for a BIM Modeler/Draftsperson to play a key role in developing high-quality electrical BIM models for medium-to-large-scale projects in Victoria, Australia. You will report directly to our Construction Manager.
What You'll Do
- Develop accurate Electrical BIM models for Lighting, Power, Cable Tray, ELV, Data, Comms, Lightning Protection, and Earthing as per LOD and BEP requirements.
- Produce coordinated 2D/3D drawings, schematics, and schedules with consistent naming and parameters.
- Update models and drawings based on engineer markups, RFIs, and client feedback.
- Coordinate with MEP, Structural, and Architectural teams to detect and resolve clashes using Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, or Revizto.
- Create, modify, and maintain Electrical Revit families with correct parameters and classification.
- Follow BEP and QA/QC standards for modeling, documentation, and file structure.
- Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Site teams, attending coordination meetings.
- Manage model versions, publishing, and file naming within the CDE (ACC / BIM 360).
- Perform model audits to eliminate warnings, optimize performance, and maintain correct coordinates.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of BIM Electrical modelling experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revizto.
- Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work and achieve deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LOD 500.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly regarded.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field beneficial but not required.

- Compensation: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD per month.
