Race Communications is hiring a Billing Specialist to join our call center team. In this remote role, you will manage and streamline billing processes to ensure seamless operations and deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Process billing transactions accurately and in a timely manner using billing software or systems.
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers based on billing schedules and agreements.
- Ensure billing information is entered correctly, including rates, quantities, discounts, and taxes.
- Review billing data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors.
- Verify billing documents against contracts and purchase orders for consistency.
- Resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Communicate with internal departments and customers to clarify billing details and address concerns.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audit and reference purposes.
- Generate billing reports and analyses to track activities and identify trends.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting departments on billing-related matters.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing billing inquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Take calls to assist with billing inquiries.
What We're Looking For
- Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in billing or accounting.
- Familiarity with electronic filing systems such as OneDrive or Google Drive.
- Skilled in using CRM systems and practices for managing billing processes and customer accounts.
- Must be able to type 35 WPM.
- Effective English communication skills, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
Nice to Have
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Familiarity with SalesForce.
- Proficiency in Spanish Language.
Technical Stack
- Billing software or systems.
- MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Teleconferencing applications.
- Electronic filing systems (OneDrive, Google Drive).
- CRM systems.
