LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking an entry-level Billing Coordinator I (Healthcare Billing Specialist) to join our Revenue Cycle Management Division. This role is part of our journey to accelerate life-changing healthcare breakthroughs and improve the delivery of care for all. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of healthcare billing information in a remote, fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform billing data entry requiring 10 key skills.
- Compare data with source documents and enter provided billing information.
- Research missing or incorrect billing information.
- Verify insurance information.
- Ensure daily and weekly billing activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Research and update billing demographic data to ensure prompt insurance payment.
- Communicate via phone with clients and patients to resolve billing defects.
- Meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Ensure billing transactions are processed in a timely fashion.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous working experience.
Nice to Have
- Specific experience in medical billing, AR/AP, or Claims/Insurance.
- Previous Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) work experience.
- Alpha-Numeric Data Entry proficiency (10 key skills).
