TORKLAW is seeking a Bilingual Intake Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the vital first connection for people seeking our help, listening to their stories and guiding them toward the right next steps with clarity and empathy.
What You'll Do
- Connect with potential clients, establishing trust and rapport from the first interaction.
- Assess each client’s unique situation and present the best course of action.
- Communicate with clarity, empathy, and professionalism across phone, text, chat, and email.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain diligent follow-up in the case intake process.
- Work autonomously and collaborate within a supportive team environment.
- Transition newly retained clients to the case handling team.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with standard office productivity software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A problem-solver with the ability to handle challenging situations.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor and effectiveness as a team player.
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent education.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or administration.
