About the Role

Medavie is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to provide essential support and service to providers and members in a federal government contract context. In this remote role, you will be the key link delivering high-level customer service through effective problem-solving within a supportive team environment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide support and service to providers and members.
  • Effectively problem solve and contribute positively to a team environment.
  • Ensure the person making the inquiry receives the highest level of customer service possible.
  • Handle customer inquiries through email and phone, communicating clearly, concisely, and friendly.
  • Navigate between multiple software applications simultaneously while supporting the caller.
  • Handle both good and challenging calls.
  • Understand callers' needs and learn quickly how to get the best results.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be fluently Bilingual (English and French) both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work varying shifts between 7am - 10pm Monday to Friday.
  • A liking for helping people.
  • Good communication skills through email and phone.
  • A 'whatever it takes' attitude and liking for new challenges daily.
  • Training/education and/or relevant working experience in customer service or health.
  • At least a high school diploma.
  • Ability to concentrate, have high attention to detail, and sit while using a computer and headset for prolonged periods.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to multitask between multiple software applications.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) including Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check.
  • Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
  • Private, locked, secure, quiet, distraction-free home office workspace with controllable environment.
  • Approved home internet network for remote work.

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of Contact Centre experience.
