About the Role

What You'll Do

Support credit union members by handling inquiries and resolving concerns over the phone or through digital channels. You'll verify account holders, detect potential fraud risks, and deliver accurate information with care and professionalism. Your goal is to address each issue in a single interaction, ensuring members feel heard and supported.

You’ll act as a bridge between members and internal departments, following up on complex cases and ensuring seamless service. Responsibilities include processing transactions, updating accounts, and guiding users through online banking tools and digital account setup. You'll also help members adopt efficient ways to manage their finances and recommend appropriate services based on individual needs.

Stay current on financial products and procedures—from loans and wires to debit cards and fraud prevention—and communicate details clearly and confidently. All interactions require strict adherence to privacy standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, spoken and written
  • Reside in eligible areas of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, or Michigan
  • Available Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, plus one Saturday per month (8 AM – 1 PM)
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or call center environments
  • Strong ability to multitask using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Proven skill in resolving inquiries efficiently with a focus on one-call resolution
  • Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
  • Active listening and problem-solving abilities to meet member needs effectively
  • Up-to-date knowledge of banking operations, digital platforms, and transaction processes
