Control Solutions Inc is looking for a BAS Software Engineer to design, implement, and test software applications that integrate with HVAC systems. You will play a key role in developing solutions that enhance system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications for HVAC system components.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and embedded systems for controlling and monitoring electrical HVAC systems.
- Implement algorithms and protocols for data acquisition, processing, and analysis to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure reliability, robustness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate software solutions with hardware platforms and third-party systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and customers during product development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in software technologies, HVAC systems, and industry trends.
- Document software designs, implementation details, and test procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) Engineering.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems or real-time applications.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and building automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
