Citi is hiring a Investment Banking Intern Analyst to join its team, providing strategic advisory services and helping clients raise capital. As an Intern Analyst, you will assist clients with raising funds, offer guidance on mergers and acquisitions, and serve as a trading intermediary, acting as a strategic advisor to formulate investment strategies.
What You'll Do
- Participate in client mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and the underwriting of equity, debt, and derivative securities.
- Collect and analyze company information, conduct industry research, and revise financial data.
- Analyze data and build financial models for company valuations, discounted cash flow, financing, and comparative analyses.
- Create and finalize new business development presentations.
- Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams.
- Prepare internal documentation related to control and compliance regulations.
- Participate in Citi's mentorship program for further training and guidance.
- Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets.
What We're Looking For
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to develop knowledge of the financial industry.
- Proven commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree, University degree, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is a plus, but not required.
