Tekton Labs is seeking a Backend Engineer with NodeJS expertise to join their team. The role involves working on innovative software solutions for a leading North American client within a global, collaborative environment focused on growth and technology.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop backend systems using NodeJS and related technologies
- Collaborate with a global team of professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Work within agile development frameworks to meet project goals
- Contribute to the development of microservices using Express, Nest, or KOA
- Implement clean architecture principles in software design
- Ensure code quality through unit testing using Jest or Mocka
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years as a back-end developer
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Express
- Experience with unit testing using Jest or Mocka
- Knowledge of BBDD: Redis, Postgres, SQL
- Experience with AWS Services: Lambda functions, CloudWatch, SQS, EventBridge, S3
- Understanding of Clean Architecture (notions and basic experience)
- Familiarity with tools: Jenkins, GIT, Gitlab
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cypress for testing
- Experience with Express, Nest, KOA for microservices (notions, not mandatory)

Compensation: Peru: S/ 6,000 per month; LATAM (outside Peru): $2,200.00 USD per month
Work Mode
Full-time, remote work. Open to all LATAM countries, with specific rates for Peru and other LATAM regions.
