Fireblocks is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Assets team. In this role, you will design and develop robust systems to support a diverse range of customers, focusing on scalable products for managing assets on our platform. This encompasses data modeling, processing, and analysis, while ensuring seamless integration and delivering exceptional user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Architect, design, and implement highly robust, scalable, and resilient microservices to handle large volumes of concurrent transactions and data operations.
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, coding across the entire backend stack, including core backend components and APIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Design teams, and other Engineering teams to define requirements and execute complex projects.
- Proactively enhance, optimize, and refactor existing production systems to improve performance, reduce technical debt, and increase scalability and security.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend or Fullstack Engineer.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree or experience.
- Excellent knowledge of common web and SaaS software architectures.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including CI/CD, cloud platforms, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience developing SaaS products through the full product life cycle.
- Proven ability to research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies.
- A security-oriented approach and mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency.
