About the Job As a Backend Software Engineer at Synthesize, you will construct resilient, scalable infrastructure and backend services powering our healthcare AI platform. You'll lead establishing best practices around infrastructure, security, continuous integration pipelines, and cloud hosting strategies. As an early engineering team member, you'll have substantial influence in defining technical architecture and engineering culture. You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure our platform remains secure, high-performing, reliable, and expandable. While primarily focused on backend and infrastructure, our agile team empowers engineers to work across technological domains when necessary to comprehensively own feature development. Synthesize is headquartered in New York City, where part of our engineering team works on-site.
