Peab is looking for a Backend Developer focused on data integration and quality. You will be central to developing and enhancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring the business has access to high-quality data and insights. Your work will involve creating stable, scalable solutions within a modern platform.
What You'll Do
- Develop ETL flows and data transformations.
- Ensure data from multiple systems is collected, integrated, and transformed correctly.
- Optimize code for performance and scalability with large data volumes.
- Ensure data quality through manual and automated testing and support UAT.
- Document code and processes to facilitate future maintenance and development.
- Collaborate closely with the team and raise issues early to find the best way forward.
What We're Looking For
- Education level equivalent to at least three years of completed university studies.
- Several years of experience in backend development within data, BI, or analytics.
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
- Experience working with DBT.
- Good understanding of data modeling and methods like Kimball.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Snowflake and Azure.
- Experience with SQL and preferably Python.
- Experience with Matillion.
- Understanding of Power BI from a data modeling and consumption perspective.
- Experience working with different types of data, e.g., financial data and HR data.
