XPLORE is the Industrial IoT (IIoT) platform for machine monitoring and predictive maintenance of industrial compressors, developed by Neuman & Esser. It integrates dedicated IIoT hardware, a cloud-based SaaS platform, and OEM remote services into a single, unified condition monitoring solution.

The platform captures data from compressors via the XPLORE Gateway, a plug-and-play edge device that connects directly to the PLC. It enables real-time monitoring, trend analysis, high-frequency data capture, and AI-powered health scoring to detect anomalies before failures occur. The system is designed for precision and reliability in critical industrial environments.

XPLORE supports modular monitoring with features like automated alarm management, customizable KPIs, and remote diagnostics. It is used across industries such as hydrogen production, petrochemistry, and industrial gas processing, where unplanned downtime carries significant risk. All data is secured with industrial-grade encryption and stored in AWS Frankfurt with full German data residency.

The Fleet Control Center provides remote monitoring by OEM engineers who offer weekly health reports, root-cause diagnostics, and maintenance recommendations. The solution works with any industrial compressor with an Ethernet-enabled PLC, though expert analysis is optimized for NEA-built machines.
