About the Role
This position involves working closely with customers to resolve technical challenges in the Kotlin ecosystem, providing deep technical support, and contributing to product improvements based on real-world usage and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by users of Kotlin-related tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate customer needs and feedback
- Analyze customer workflows to identify areas for product enhancement
- Develop backend solutions and integrations to improve tool reliability
- Document technical problems and their resolutions for internal and external use
- Support the creation of debugging tools for customer-facing teams
- Engage in root cause analysis of reported software behaviors
- Assist in testing and validating fixes for reported issues
- Provide input on product documentation based on support experience
- Work with telemetry data to understand usage patterns and failure points
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases used by support and development teams
- Help onboard enterprise customers to Kotlin-based platforms
- Guide customers through migration paths and compatibility concerns
- Troubleshoot integration issues between tools in the ecosystem
- Advocate for usability improvements based on customer pain points
- Participate in incident response for critical customer outages
- Evaluate new features from a supportability perspective
- Assist in the development of automated diagnostic utilities
- Coordinate with product managers on prioritization of customer issues
- Deliver technical workshops or sessions for customer teams
- Monitor community forums for emerging technical trends
- Improve feedback loops between support and core development
- Investigate performance bottlenecks in backend systems
- Support the rollout of updates in customer environments
- Maintain awareness of evolving JVM and Kotlin language features
