20four7VA is hiring a Bilingual Virtual Front Desk Assistant (English/Spanish) to support a mental health practice. In this essential remote role, you will ensure smooth client interactions, manage scheduling, and handle patient information with a focus on privacy and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide courteous, professional assistance to clients in both English and Spanish.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments.
- Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information into the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Conduct follow-up calls for claim status inquiries.
- Provide general front desk support virtually, ensuring smooth operations of the practice.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written) – this is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet workspace.
- Must complete HIPAA training upon hire.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a healthcare, medical office, or telehealth support role.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and claims processes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable using EHR systems (training provided).
- Ability to use phone system applications (e.g., GoToMeeting or similar).
