Synchrony is looking for an AVP, Digital Scrum Master to lead two Agile teams focused on delivering a seamless customer experience for the OnePay program. You will be responsible for guiding teams dedicated to API integrations and the resiliency, performance, and reliability of services.
What You'll Do
- Lead two Agile teams: one focused on resiliency, performance and reliability of services, and one supporting API integrations and configurations.
- Collaborate with digital product owners, technical leads, partners and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless and speedy customer experience.
- Generate progress reports indicating velocity, burn-down, and other key metrics.
- Communicate and facilitate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the Agile Team.
- Manage a diverse development team consisting of application architects, engineers, quality engineers, and third-party contractors.
- Coach Agile behavior and facilitate ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Demos, Retrospectives, and release planning.
- Manage Sprints to keep order, process, delivery, and priorities accurate and on time.
- Keep the scrum team focused on concrete priorities while protecting them from outside disruptions; actively identify and remove waste and distractions.
- Work with Product Owners and QA to ensure testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner, meeting Sprint timelines.
- Advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of IT experience or equivalent leadership program experience, or in lieu of degree a High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of IT experience.
- Experience in developing and implementing information systems and project management.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with API SDLC and RESTful API integration.
- Familiarity with system resiliency, reliability, microservice application development, and API gateway technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, software developers in particular.
- Passion for Agile and experience helping teams become more Agile.
- Participated in management of projects and implementations with both large and small corporate organizations.
- Experience working in SAFe / Scaled Agile a plus.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and other Atlassian products; fluency in MS Office.
- Superior organization skills and adept at multi-tasking.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
- An analytical approach to problem solving and trouble shooting.
- High level of initiative and can work well in a team environment.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $90,000 - $155,000 USD Annual.
