What You'll Do
- Ensure contract compliance with company guidelines within an assigned area.
- Handle financials including accounts receivable, invoicing, and pricing support.
- Maintain client knowledge, including threatened status and relationship with the company.
- Manage the renewal process timely and negotiate new contracts.
- Oversee business planning and budgeting.
- Plan for staffing needs, including succession, bench-strength, and new business.
- Support client relationships; build executive relationships; support internal relationships.
- Support business development.
- Support the organization's quality program(s).
- Travel as required.
- Administer company personnel policies and follow staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans; conduct performance reviews.
- Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) years of Account Executive experience on national accounts.
- Five (5) years of claims/supervisory experience.
- In-depth understanding of workers compensation, liability, and disability.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Leadership/management/motivational skills.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
- Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion.
- Ability to handle work-related stress, multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Computer keyboarding, travel as required.

Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance.
- Advanced degree and/or professional designations (CPCU, AIC, ARM).
