Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for an Avid Editor – Portuguese to manage the versioning and tagging process for promotional content across linear, digital, and streaming platforms. You will adapt content for the Latin American market and create compelling short-form multiplatform content aligned with our brands.
What You'll Do
- Version and tag promotional content for Linear, digital, and streaming platforms with high accuracy.
- Adapt promotional content for the Latin American market in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
- Create compelling short-form multiplatform content following a script aligned with the different WBD brands.
- Produce short-form content for mid and high-profile promotional marketing and programming.
- Act as a trusted contributor to brand partners throughout the entire project lifecycle from ideation to final delivery.
- Manage brand partners’ expectations.
- Collaborate with Sound Design, Design, and other post-production entities and artists.
- Provide troubleshooting and creative solutions when problems arise.
- Perform operational tasks efficiently and reliably.
- Collaborate effectively, embrace innovative ideas and workflows, and bring creative ideas to the table.
- Follow several projects simultaneously.
- Quickly adapt and pivot based on project deadlines and brand partners’ requests.
- Anticipate brand partners’ needs based on previous knowledge of WBD brands, projects, and requests.
- Contribute valuable information towards project workflow development.
- Adhere to site-specific operational workflows and protocols.
- Assist in the development of edit assists and associate editors by providing feedback, guidance, and mentorship.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3-5 years of experience editing in a post-production broadcast environment.
- Experience working with promotional marketing content.
- Extensive knowledge of editing applications including Adobe Premiere, Avid, and third-party plugins.
- Ability and flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
Nice to Have
- Intermediate level proficiency in Portuguese and English.
