LILT is hiring an Automotive AI Rater & Evaluator - Remote

About the Role

Provide expert judgment to enhance AI systems focused on automotive engineering, vehicle technologies, and mobility solutions. This remote position supports the development of accurate, safe, and technically sound AI outputs through structured evaluation and feedback.

What You'll Do

  • Review and score AI-generated content related to automotive topics, including design, manufacturing, and mobility innovations
  • Ensure technical correctness, safety compliance, and alignment with industry standards
  • Detect inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, or misleading information in model outputs
  • Apply detailed evaluation criteria consistently across diverse technical scenarios
  • Improve assessment frameworks by identifying edge cases and refining scoring guidelines
  • Resolve discrepancies when evaluations differ among team members
  • Analyze model errors and contribute insights on system behavior
  • Collaborate with research and product teams to shape evaluation strategies
  • Support safety testing, red-teaming exercises, and model validation efforts

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in automotive engineering, vehicle systems, manufacturing, or mobility technologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply evaluation criteria reliably
  • Clear and logical communication, especially when justifying safety-related judgments
  • Commitment to quality, consistency, and professional standards
  • Native or professional proficiency in at least one supported language
  • Fluency in English for understanding guidelines and providing feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background as an automotive engineer, technical lead, or subject matter expert
  • Experience with vehicle subsystems, production processes, or mobility solutions
  • History of defining technical standards or evaluating complex engineering cases
  • Ability to articulate tradeoffs in performance, safety, and compliance
