Capgemini is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, enhancing frameworks, driving quality in agile teams, and supporting CI/CD integration. What You'll Do
- Build reliable and scalable automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or SHAFT.
- Contribute to framework design, improve test coverage, and ensure maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to embed testing best practices in agile workflows.
- Implement automated tests within pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and help improve overall test efficiency and stability.
- Maintain clear test documentation, report defects, and provide meaningful test insights to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in test automation across web, API, or mobile platforms.
- Fluency in German and English.
