About the Role

Paint Stores Group is hiring an Automation Systems Developer to deliver platform capabilities and automation solutions that improve productivity and business processes. You’ll support the analysis, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide systems, working closely with technical peers and product teams.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct preliminary analysis of current enterprise-wide systems and share insights with senior team members.
  • Work closely with product teams to gather requirements and support related technical solutions.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide system modifications and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement integration and automation solutions.
  • Assist with ongoing monitoring, using metrics to analyze system performance data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Follow established standards and best practices to develop and maintain programming and system documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments on small-scale system upgrades, leveraging established project management methodologies.
  • Create technical documentation and provide post-implementation support for simple system issues.
  • Determine how low code/no code solutions can be utilized to support simple enterprise-wide system development.
  • Document system configurations and identify reusable components for Product Teams.
  • Partner with the Business Process Automation COE to provide technical solutions and ensure appropriate scaling.
  • Support R12 ERP Integration from an automation perspective.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering), or at least 3 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in enterprise-wide systems programming.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with writing code, debugging, testing, and deploying code in a variety of environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Platform certifications (e.g., Oracle, ServiceNow, Azure).
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications.
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
  • Knowledge of Automation technologies like RPA, Celonis, Conexiom, Power Automate.
  • Understanding of Oracle, Coupa, or Best of Breed systems (AOM, QAD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Low-code/No-code solutions.

This is an onsite role located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.
