Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is hiring an Automation & Robotics Intern to contribute to the design and prototyping of systems within our Automation team. You will support a range of projects across facilities, manufacturing, and instrumentation.
What You'll Do
- Participate in prototype development and testing, creating detailed design outputs and technical documentation.
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and prototypes.
- Participate in research and development for electromechanical projects involving sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Execute and document test protocols.
- Assist in designing testing processes focused on meaningful metrics to harmonize equipment verification and performance.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and electrical engineering.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent with graduation expected within one year of the internship.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant experience and projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical design and electromechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex challenges.
- Self-starter with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with mechanical CAD (Solidworks preferred).
- Familiarity with electrical schematics capture and board layout.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping and hands-on mechanical assembly.
- Familiarity with robotics and automation in warehouse and pharmaceutical industries.
- Familiarity with design controls and pharmaceutical regulations.
