Allstate is looking for an Auto Telephone Claims Adjuster I, II or Sr. to join our team. You will be responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents, determining coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiating claims within your authority. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior employees.
What You'll Do
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential for complex cases
- Apply an advanced understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships
- Handle investigations for all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability, damages) with discretion and increased authority
- Learn to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims if applicable
- Recognize vehicle body parts and understand other potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and meet them using appropriate customer service skills
What We're Looking For
- Experience investigating and adjusting complex auto insurance claims
- Advanced knowledge of coverage determination, liability assessment, and claims negotiation
- Strong analytical skills for identifying fraud or subrogation potential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Nice to Have
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 or more years of experience
