Coast Professional, Inc. is looking for an Auditor I to ensure the company's compliance with client contracts and government regulations. This role focuses on conducting internal audits for the Information Technology and Operations Departments, evaluating policies, procedures, and internal controls.
What You'll Do
- Review workflows and work instructions to understand and verify correct process execution.
- Audit assigned processes to confirm compliance with documented workflows and instructions.
- Identify and report process errors that deviate from established standards to management.
- Initiate non-conformities within the compliance management system and review corrective actions.
- Analyze operational notifications to determine if errors are isolated or widespread.
- Initiate and review reports from client and internal systems to identify potential deficiencies.
- Provide support to other areas of the compliance department as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in collections or a related profession is required; student loan collections experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of collection practices and familiarity with IT functions.
- High aptitude for problem-solving, analyzing data, and interpreting contractual agreements.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, time management, and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and function as part of a team.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance granting access to classified information are required.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis or reporting.
- Demonstrated experience working with technology using critical and analytical thinking.
