DEKRA is hiring an Auditor to plan, perform, and document management system audits according to IATF rules and DCG requirements. You will coordinate with automotive industry customers, manage on-site audits, and prepare detailed reports. The role also involves acting as a trainer for IATF16949 courses and accepting IATF witness audits.
What You'll Do
- Accept audit assignments and report results in the GLASS (IATF) system.
- Plan, prepare, perform, and document management system audits meeting IATF rules.
- Coordinate audit dates and schedules with customers.
- Review documents and prepare reports for certification and recertification audits.
- Manage audits at the audit location.
- Prepare records of strong points, weak points (non-conformities), recommendations, and define required objective evidence.
- Clarify certificate models regarding contents and structure.
- Conduct research and development of audit skills and methods.
- Accept and pass IATF (VDA QMC) witness audits with good results.
- Act as a trainer for IATF16949 related training courses.
- Conduct staff training.
What We're Looking For
- More than 6 years of professional experience in technology or engineering within the automotive industry, including supply chain.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.
- Experience in QM, or R&D, production, testing, inspection, or certification.
- Evidence of training as an IATF16949 auditor with a valid IATF16949 auditor certificate.
- Auditing experience as an IATF16949 lead auditor.
- Thorough, efficient, decisive, and independent working style.
- Ethical, open-minded, diplomatic, observant, and perceptive.
- Fluent oral communication and written skills in English.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, change agility, result focus, innovation & digitalization, and customer centricity.
- Personal qualities of integrity, team spirit, customer orientation, entrepreneurship, and responsibility for safety.
Nice to Have
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
