dmg::media, publisher of The i Paper, seeks a freelance Audience Writer to join our newsroom. This newly created role blends writing with visually led content curation to engage new readers and expand our audience across platforms.
What You'll Do
- Expand The i Paper’s audience by writing and curating compelling content
- Apply strong visual skills to illustrate stories with eye-catching, appealing images
- Pitch daily story ideas informed by audience data and trends
- Produce content on a wide range of topics
- Source and write original features aligned with The i Paper’s values
- Craft engaging headlines and copy designed to inform and entertain
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced media environment
- Strong eye for visuals and an understanding of how to use images to tell a story
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
Nice to Have
- Awareness of emerging platforms and trends in digital media
- Proficiency in using audience data to guide content strategies
