Director, Software Engineering (Individual Contributor) will work remotely and potentially report to headquarters. Responsibilities include designing & architecting next-generation technological solutions addressing business challenges. Key duties involve proposing solutions to stakeholders, including executives and senior leaders from product, business, strategy, and technology domains. Primary responsibilities include: - Authoring documentation and diagrams to communicate ideas - Guiding engineering implementation - Partnering with Product, Design, and Architecture Leads - Creating technological solutions with measurable outcomes - Collaborating across product development portfolios - Optimizing solution delivery per industry best practices - Mentoring and coaching engineering teams - Improving software engineering practices - Fostering innovation - Developing resilient and scalable solutions - Elevating company's technological brand - Leading R&D projects with potential industry disruption Travel requirements: Up to 1-2 days per week (25-49% time), with international potential. Maximum single trip duration: 5 days.
