What You'll Do
Deliver consistent, high-quality service in the crew dining areas, ensuring all operations meet established company standards. Support smooth daily functioning by maintaining proper setup, cleanliness, and organization across all mess facilities.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and other departments to coordinate schedules, address operational needs, and promote teamwork. Report any equipment issues or service concerns promptly to maintain efficiency and safety.
Oversee the inventory of essential service items—such as silverware, glassware, linens, and chinaware—ensuring adequate stock levels at all times. Assist in conducting regular audits and tracking usage to reduce loss and damage.
Help set up buffet services when needed and ensure proper mise-en-place and presentation standards are maintained. Uphold strict compliance with SHIP-SAN regulations, including waste disposal and sanitation procedures, to safeguard health across all areas.
Follow emergency protocols to protect the safety of crew and vessel, and contribute to a secure onboard environment through consistent adherence to procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Recruitment is open to candidates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan
- Fluent in Russian; intermediate or higher English proficiency depending on role level
- Valid STCW certification and seafarer’s passport or identity card required
- Minimum of three years’ experience in food and beverage service within a luxury hotel or cruise environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proven customer service skills and ability to foster team collaboration
- Capable of performing effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced conditions
