Provide high-level scientific leadership for publications-driven projects within the Medical Scientific Services team. Ensure scientific accuracy, strategic direction, and effective client communication in a 12-month fixed-term contract. Mentor and develop junior scientific writers. Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scientific content across various formats including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, plain language summaries, and digital media such as podcasts and videos
- Conduct advanced scientific reviews and provide strategic guidance to align deliverables with client goals
- Manage and strengthen client relationships within assigned accounts, ensuring consistent and transparent communication
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior scientific writers to enhance their professional and scientific capabilities
- Support business development efforts by providing scientific insights that drive organic growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a scientific or related discipline
- At least six years of professional experience in medical or scientific writing

- Advanced academic degree preferred
- Experience in respiratory therapeutics is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of scientific content while maintaining strategic coherence
- Proven skills in client relationship and account management
