Deseret Management is looking for an Associate Producer to be a fully contributing member of the KSL TV News team. You will produce interesting, relevant newscasts that meet high journalistic standards of accuracy, fairness, and timeliness. You’ll assume primary responsibility for assigned newscasts, evaluating stories and organizing them into a cohesive broadcast.

What You'll Do

Write, produce, and edit material for newscasts that appeal to targeted audiences.
Organize, delegate, and motivate people across different departments to coordinate news activities from conceptualization to execution.
Meet strict deadlines and handle stress effectively.
Work independently and dependably under minimal supervision.

Strong writing, production, and conversational skills to transmit information clearly.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with the ENPS Computer System and ability to utilize state-of-the-art television technology.
Experience in an organization similar to KSL's and knowledge of community organizations and resources.
