Alcon Pharmaceuticals is looking for an Associate, Procurement Operations to manage the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services essential to our operations. You will play a key role in analyzing data and negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable procurement.

What You'll Do

Procure, source, and negotiate the purchase of machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies.
Compile and analyze statistical data to determine purchasing feasibility and establish price objectives.
Monitor supplier performance and evaluate opportunities to leverage material acquisitions.
Track market data to stay informed on price trends and dynamics.
Negotiate with suppliers, analyze their operations, and determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and schedule.
Review proposals, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, and maintain necessary records.
May prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid packages.

What We're Looking For

A proactive and driven individual with strong analytical skills.
Good knowledge of supply risk mitigation, supplier market intelligence, and Ariba e-bidding.
Ability to address issues assertively in a respectful and appropriate manner.
Ability to organize and maintain an efficient filing system.
