Flex Electronics is looking for an Associate Principle, Industrialization to lead the production technology pre-development and industrialization process within our Embedded Power organization. You will be accountable for driving manufacturing solutions that meet industrialization targets while ensuring they adhere to strict standards for unit-per-hour, capacity, and quality.

What You'll Do

Drive the production technology pre-development and industrialization production engineering process.
Oversee and refine prototypes and industrialization stage products manufacturing processes, equipment/automation solutions, fixtures needs, and Flex system integration.
Develop the production technology pre-development roadmap.
Conduct Manufacturing Process Development and Product Manufacturing Process Mapping.
Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Automation (DFA), and other DFx reviews.
Co-drive Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Develop suitable manufacturing processes and automation solutions aligned with site requirements.
Develop robust and cost-effective manufacturing fixtures.
Integrate Flex System (ERP/MES) and Digitalization for New Product Development.
Verify custom-made equipment (Factory Acceptance Test/Site Acceptance Test).
Develop pre-development process and industrialization production engineering processes within product realization.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in NPI/Industrialization, as an Engineering leader, or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and development environments.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving, multi-site, multi-geography environment.
Ability to function as both a team leader and an individual contributor.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in the SMT, assembly, and testing processes specific to power products.
Proficiency in the field of Manufacturing Automation solutions.
Experience in fixtures design and materials selection.
Strong leadership skills.
Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of manufacturing process control digitalization setup.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate closely with the R&D team, Test Development, industrialization engineering team, quality team, and Site Manufacturing team.
