Citicclsa is hiring an Associate, Precious Metals Trader to execute trades in global markets and drive business growth. This role involves strategic market development and client engagement while managing risk and collaborating with internal teams.

What You'll Do

Execute trades in spot, futures, options, and OTC markets across global commodity exchanges like COMEX, LBMA, and SGE.
Conduct real-time mark-to-market analysis and manage market, liquidity, and credit risk at the trading desk level.
Identify, cultivate, and manage upstream and downstream resources in the precious metals sector to develop robust procurement and sales channels.
Drive growth in precious metals spot and derivatives business through strategic market development and client engagement.
Monitor global macroeconomic trends, monetary policies, and market developments to inform investment strategies and risk-hedging approaches.
Collaborate with quantitative and technology teams to design, test, and enhance trading platforms, pricing tools, and internal risk systems for improved accuracy and efficiency.
Work closely with other trading desks, research teams, and operations to optimize client strategies and streamline post-trade processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in trading workflows, system functionality, and overall market competitiveness.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or higher from a renowned university, with majors in finance, financial engineering, statistics, or related fields.
3-5 years of experience in commodities trading.
Diligent, hardworking, highly self-driven with a strong interest in research and trading work.
Clear logical thinking, strong data processing and quantitative analysis skills, good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in using Mandarin and English for communication.
