About the Role

McKesson Corporation, an impact-driven Fortune 10 company, is looking for an Associate Oncology Compliance Auditor. In this role, you will perform audits under the Direction of the Compliance & Ethics Sr. Manager to ensure coding integrity and regulatory compliance. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our oncology care services.

What You'll Do

  • Perform both routine and non-routine coding audits under the Direction of the Compliance & Ethics Sr. Manager.
  • Draft and prepare audit results and reports to be shared with providers.
  • Review and provide timely responses to coding inquiries.
  • Assist with follow-up education for providers where required.
  • Contribute to the completion of government audits when requested.
  • Review documentation to ensure coding is supported by medical records.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with claim data.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information as required by regulations and guidelines.
  • Stay abreast of the continuously shifting Coding Compliance landscape to ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, laws, and policies.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the AAPC or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) from AHIMA.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state coding regulations.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Typically, a minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience; may have a degree or equivalent.

Nice to Have

  • Associate or Bachelor degree.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Compliance & Ethics Sr. Manager. This role works independently while also collaborating in a team environment to address coding and billing matters across various departments.

Work Mode

This is a remote position. Candidates are preferred from the Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; or Dallas, Texas areas.
