Spotify is hiring an Associate Manager - Commercial Label Partnerships

As the Associate Manager - Commercial Label Partnerships, you will play a central role in supporting both major and independent music labels on Spotify’s platform. Your primary focus will be resolving complex digital rights management issues, ensuring partners can effectively use Spotify’s tools and services. You’ll act as a key point of contact, delivering responsive, high-touch support that helps labels navigate technical and operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support to labels by diagnosing and resolving issues within rights management systems
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify gaps and advocate for partner-driven improvements
  • Monitor operational performance using data analysis and reporting tools to track workflow efficiency and partner feedback
  • Lead educational initiatives to scale understanding of rights management tools across the partner base
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Business Affairs, and Content Insights to align on partner needs and solutions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital rights management or technical project management within a music industry or partner-facing environment
  • Proven experience working directly with record labels, distributors, or artist management teams
  • Strong familiarity with digital rights management platforms across multiple digital service providers
  • Skilled in using automation and data analysis to inform decisions and improve processes
  • Excellent communication abilities with a focus on clarity and storytelling through data
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage both strategic goals and daily operations

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY, with flexibility to work remotely several days per week. The position requires in-office presence 2–3 times weekly to support collaboration and team engagement.

Compensation
