Kyndryl is hiring an Associate, IT Strategy Consulting. In this role, you will deliver value to customers by applying deep domain, technology, and industry expertise to analyze challenges and create innovative solutions. You will guide customers in their adoption of cloud and non-cloud technologies, advise on strategic choices, and spearhead comprehensive modernization programs that encompass people, culture, process, and technology.
What You'll Do
- Establish project milestones, set quality targets, and manage the work of others.
- Articulate the business impact and benefits of solutions while managing stakeholder expectations.
- Advise customers on technology options and help them make strategic choices and decisions.
- Capture, prioritize, and resolve complex and conflicting requirements.
- Analyze the customer's current state, define a comprehensive IT Strategy with key outcomes, and design conceptual solutions.
- Plan and execute design and implementation work, accounting for time, cost, and quality targets, with support from technical specialists.
- Develop intellectual property and own specific assets, tools, and white papers articulating points of view in a specific domain.
- Assemble and lead a team of consultants and architects.
- Facilitate and capture lessons learned from engagements to update methodologies and assets.
- Spearhead comprehensive modernization programs encompassing people, culture, process, and technology.
What We're Looking For
- Consulting experience with a major IT professional services firm or similar background focused on IT strategy enablement.
- Knowledge of major cloud technologies including virtualization, containers, and networking across different platforms.
- Subject matter expertise in at least three domains such as cloud computing, IT strategy, infrastructure, IT operations, applications, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, automation, data management, AI/ML, IoT, or cloud governance models.
- Data modeling and analytical experience using common tools like Excel and Tableau.
- Proven ability in issue-based analysis, determining structured data to collect, and producing structured conclusions, recommendations, and roadmaps.
- Knowledge of IT Operating Model and Process Frameworks.
- Awareness of broad competencies and depth in specific areas including IT strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, process reengineering, and automation.
- Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and interviews, coupled with excellent presentation skills.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile, and Scrum constructs to identify inefficiencies through readiness assessments and develop strategies to optimize the implementation of IT or cloud resources and capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in IT and/or cloud technology architecture, service management, and/or resiliency.
- ITSM and ITIL or COBIT certification.
- Business case skills, ROI, and TCO analysis to validate IT strategy.
- Experience leading workshops and interviews for discovery and assessment engagements.
