Illumina is seeking an Associate Director, Sub-Regional Marketing Business Partner for France. This role sits within our Regional Field Marketing organization, serving as a key member of the sub-regional General Manager's extended leadership team. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing strategic marketing plans aligned to sub-regional business plans, including go-to-market tactics for our on-market portfolio and new product introductions.
What You'll Do
- Formulate the marketing plan to support Illumina’s commercial goals in France.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and drive execution with clear milestones and action plans.
- Ensure marketing plans are market-relevant while aligning to Illumina’s strategies, product positioning, and branding.
- Develop a Marketing tactics flight plan with Regional Field Marketing Programs, Events, Tradeshows, and Digital shared resource teams.
- Assess customer pipeline Marketing KPIs in the sub-region by stage.
- Build target customer engagement plans for current and new customers with GM, Sales, Sales Specialists, Strategic Growth, and Global teams.
- Report on Customer pipeline health KPIs regularly with GMs, Sales, Sales Specialists, and the Strategic Growth team.
- Work with campaign manager and ComOps partners to analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities.
- Track leads generated from marketing activities.
- Report and analyze program performance and sales pipeline to ensure ROI for investments and efforts.
- Evaluate the performance of omni-channel marketing programs and recommend improvements.
- Ensure the return on investment of marketing activities is in line with European targets.
- Review targets and dashboards to measure efficiencies; report metrics regularly and adjust tactics to improve performance.
- Collaborate within a complex, matrixed structure as the sub-regional marketing point of contact across numerous functions.
- Engage with product marketing, TAMs and market analysts to conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights.
- Develop and manage the customer segment marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related subject area.
- Extensive experience in marketing/healthcare marketing.
- Experience in a marketing role responsible for product or portfolio marketing, go-to-market strategy & execution.
- Proficiency in 4Ps and marketing mix, media outreach, content strategy/marketing, VOC/VOS, segmentation, multi-channel lead generation, value proposition, demand/lead generation strategies, and marketing program development and execution.
- Ability to prioritize and influence without authority in a large organization within a highly matrixed environment.
- Collaborative approach to developing and sharing strategy, tactics, and analytics.
- Demonstrates creativity, problem-solving ability, strong analytical and execution skills.
- Ability to plan, monitor, and manage budgets, schedules, and performance requirements for assigned business unit(s) and project(s).
- A track record of building measurable programs and marketing communications efforts that deliver against bold business goals.
- Highly organized with the ability to plan a project without missing a beat.
- Intellectually curious and comfortable in a hands-on role, analyzing what’s working and what’s not.
- Strategic focus and ability to lead teams without authority.
- Travel is required (~25%).
Nice to Have
- M.BA is preferred.
- Deep understanding of multiomics is a plus.
