Gilead Sciences is hiring an Associate Director, PDM Team System to join our team in Foster City. In this role, you will collaborate with PDM Project Strategy Leads to refine and implement the tools, frameworks, and processes leveraged by our PDM Product Teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and iterate on PDM Team System tools and processes in support of PDM Product Teams.
• Ensure tools work seamlessly with PDM product governance.
• Ensure tools support PDM Operations Management’s product portfolio dashboards and analytics.
• Support the stage gate framework and G.Plan (Planisware) templates.
• Develop and maintain the PDM Team System SharePoint site as the repository for all PDM Product Team-related tools and frameworks.
• Create strong working relationships with PDM Product Strategy Leads, identifying gaps and areas for improvement as well as driving continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in life sciences or a relevant business area with 10+ years of varied post-graduation experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biosciences, or a related industry. Or an MS with 8+ years of relevant experience. Or a PhD with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
• Experience serving as a Project Manager for CMC product strategy programs.
• Experience creating tools and processes for cross-functional teams based on solicited feedback or identified gaps.
• Keen problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with continuous improvement of deliverables.
• Self-directed and proactive with ability to manage diverse stakeholders, exercise good judgment, and respond quickly and effectively to disparate feedback.
• Demonstrates exceptional influencing skills without direct authority.
• Possesses excellent oral communication skills.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.

This role is part of the larger PDM organization and the PM Center of Excellence & Governance, reporting to the Director, Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM) Team System, PM Center of Excellence & Governance.
