Responsibilities
- Shape geospatial technical strategy, standards, and architectural patterns for large-scale implementation.
- Design and deploy integrated solutions covering data modeling, analytical workflows, ArcGIS Enterprise configurations, and automated processes focused on performance, scalability, accuracy, and security.
- Advance automation and data quality using Python/ArcPy, FME (Form & Flow), ModelBuilder, and repeatable workflows, incorporating Arcade scripting where relevant.
- Create modern user experiences using ArcGIS Experience Builder and Dashboards, and support field operations through Survey123 and Field Maps.
- Manage enterprise and file geodatabases with attention to schema design, metadata, versioning, and compliance, ensuring integration with CAD/BIM systems, SQL databases, and external APIs.
- Apply advanced spatial analytics methods such as multi-criteria decision analysis for site selection and support emerging digital twin initiatives.
- Lead execution of large, complex, or cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks.
- Enforce consistent workflows, documentation practices, metadata standards, and QA/QC protocols, including participation in internal and client-facing technical reviews.
- Identify and manage project risks, interdependencies, and coordination across engineering, environmental, and digital delivery teams, while driving process improvements.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor, interpreting complex business requirements into effective geospatial solutions that generate measurable outcomes.
- Guide proposal development, cost estimation, solution architecture, and pricing in line with governance frameworks, and contribute to market positioning and strategic growth initiatives.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships with a focus on environmental sector applications and value creation.
- Enhance visibility of the geospatial practice by leading client workshops, publishing thought leadership, and supporting award submissions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical staff, establishing clear expectations and career development paths.
- Contribute to strategic direction of the geospatial team, fostering collaboration and balanced resource allocation across project portfolios.
- Track team utilization, project margins, and delivery performance, intervening promptly on emerging risks.
