About the Role

Directive Consulting is hiring an Associate Director, Digital Marketing to lead a team of Demand Generation Managers. In this remote role based in Canada, you will be responsible for driving client results through strategic leadership, ensuring team performance, and managing key client relationships. Directive is a B2B performance marketing agency focused on delivering real revenue through its Customer Generation methodology.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of Demand Generation Managers and report to the Director of Demand Generation.
  • Set goals for every client engagement in your pod.
  • Ensure clients follow best practices across all channels, particularly Paid Search, LinkedIn Advertising, LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, and Share of SERP.
  • Support strategists in earning approval for campaigns.
  • Build structure, create a cadence, support proactively, and empower your team with clear communication and expectation setting.
  • Develop relationships with client contacts.
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network.
  • Uphold a healthy direct margin within your pod by reducing churn and improving client & team retention.
  • Ensure team gets to proper utilization in a timely manner.
  • Ensure team is meeting/exceeding their revenue goals.
  • Conduct Monthly Growth Audits to identify and assign growth strategies for each client.
  • Work directly with a Director of Demand Generation to execute the department's operational vision.
  • Own the performance management process for Demand Generation Managers.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-8+ years of experience in paid media.
  • 2+ years recent agency experience.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in managing teams.
  • Proven expertise across paid search and paid social.
  • Proven and measurable success within multi-channel paid media strategies.
  • Equal parts competitive and curious, a true problem solver.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Constant learner and enthusiasm for personal growth.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in LinkedIn Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, Linear TV, Terrestrial Radio and The Trade Desk.
  • SEO experience.
