Lindus Health is hiring an Associate Director of Clinical Operations to step into senior leadership, combining portfolio oversight with commercial management. This role bridges operations and commercial functions, ensuring trial success while viewing trials through a commercial lens. You will own sponsor relationships and lead a team, all within a fully remote environment based in the United States.
What You'll Do
- Oversee a portfolio of 3-5 active trials, supporting Project Leads to ensure success through resourcing, timeline management, and strategic guidance.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex trial challenges, taking a solution-focused approach.
- Contribute to early sales processes by supporting the Commercial team in prospect engagement with operational expertise.
- Ensure seamless handover and setup of projects from Business Development to Clinical Operations.
- Manage commercial matters within agreed SOW parameters, including scope clarifications, timeline adjustments, and budget discussions.
- Own broader sponsor account relationships and strategic account management.
- Line manage 3-5 Project Leads and Project Associates, providing performance reviews and professional development.
- Serve as an advisor, coach, and mentor to the trial team and act as a best practice resource.
- Lead training programs and demonstrate team building excellence.
- Proactively identify issues and develop strategies to protect study integrity, data quality, and patient safety.
- Ensure effective oversight of trial delivery and maintain high standards across the portfolio.
- Create and maintain optimal working practices, SOPs, systems, and tools for robust study execution.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Product teams.
- Serve as a key culture contributor, setting the tone for the Clinical Operations team.
- Model Lindus Health values and the leadership behaviors that define operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in clinical trials with deep expertise as a Clinical Operations subject matter expert.
- Extremely strong project management, leadership, work ethic, ownership, and communication skills.
- Proven experience managing trial portfolios and overseeing multiple complex trials simultaneously.
- Strong commercial acumen, including managing trial-level commercial matters and owning sponsor account relationships.
- Extensive people leadership experience, including line management, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Skilled at proactive risk identification and developing strategies to protect study integrity, data quality, and patient safety.
- Ability to bridge commercial and operational functions, contributing to business development.
- Thrive in a remote work environment and can effectively lead and develop a distributed team.
- Passionate about creating optimal working practices, developing SOPs, and leading training programs.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration and serve as a role model for junior team members.
- Proactive in contributing to new business opportunities and take initiative to network on behalf of Lindus.

You will line manage 3-5 Project Leads and Project Associates and report directly to the VP of Clinical Operations.
