About the Role
The Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist will partner with oncology practices to integrate specialized testing into clinical workflows, providing education and support to ensure optimal use and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical applications of oncology testing
- Support the integration of diagnostic tools into clinical practice settings
- Collaborate with sales and medical affairs teams to align outreach strategies
- Respond to clinical inquiries from physicians and laboratory staff
- Conduct in-service training for healthcare providers on test ordering and interpretation
- Monitor adoption trends and provide feedback to internal stakeholders
- Assist in the development of educational materials for clinical audiences
- Attend oncology-focused conferences and events to support brand visibility
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders in the oncology community
- Track and report field activities and engagement outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines during field interactions
- Serve as a liaison between clinical sites and technical support teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in test utilization
- Support the onboarding of new clinical accounts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology guidelines and testing advancements
- Coordinate with regional teams to align outreach efforts
- Provide input on product feedback from clinicians
- Assist in the execution of clinical education campaigns
- Facilitate communication between laboratories and ordering physicians
- Promote best practices for specimen collection and handling
- Support data collection for clinical validation studies
- Engage in continuous learning on emerging oncology biomarkers
