At Scotiabank, we’re looking for an Associate Automation Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using RPA and other technologies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using RPA and other technologies.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define automation scope.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and documentation.
- Test and debug automation solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
- Monitor and support deployed automation solutions, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with process analysis and design.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
