Valvoline Global Operations is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the general ledger, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with group reporting and SOX requirements.
What You'll Do
- Manage the general ledger
- Enter and process incoming invoices into the financial module of our ERP system
- Reconcile and align accounts with suppliers
- Support workflow coordination with various internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
- Collaborate with banks, preparing bank guarantees, promissory notes, and related documentation
- Prepare supporting documentation for excise tax refunds
- Enter standard items during monthly closing, including FX rate entries, support for GR/IR, and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with group reporting, local requirements, and SOX
- Perform all other duties assigned by immediate supervisors
