Role Overview
Seeking a licensed Psychiatrist in Georgia to serve as a collaborating supervisor for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. This independent contractor position supports clinical oversight through monthly chart reviews, scheduled office hours, and adherence to state-specific regulatory standards. The role is fully remote, with a time commitment of 5–15 hours per month based on caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory support to PMHNPs in compliance with Georgia regulations
- Complete a minimum of three patient chart audits monthly per practitioner
- Host a recurring 60-minute office hour—or two 30-minute sessions—each month for designated clinicians
- Review documentation accuracy and clinical decision-making to ensure appropriate care delivery
- Support adherence to state requirements for collaboration, including participation in necessary meetings
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize treatment planning and patient outcomes
- Maintain consistent communication and foster a supportive, team-based environment
Qualifications
Required
- Active MD/DO license in good standing within Georgia
- National certification in Psychiatry
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or Integrative Medicine
- Proven expertise in evidence-based psychiatric care and outcome-driven treatment models
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathetic listening and clear communication
- Experience in crisis assessment and response
- Ability to work independently in a telehealth setting
- Proficiency with digital tools including Google Workspace, EMR systems, and clinical reference platforms
- Dedication to expanding access to high-quality mental health services
- Must be based in and licensed to practice in Georgia

Work Environment
This is a fully remote 1099 position open to professionals across the United States, with scheduling flexibility based on availability. All required activities must occur between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM in your local time zone.
Compensation & Commitment
This independent contractor role averages 5–15 hours per month, depending on the number of nurse practitioners supervised. No salary or equity is provided; compensation is based on contracted hours.
